Three easy ways to sharpen a slicer in minutes

Need to sharpen a grater quickly? UAportal has shared three simple and effective methods that will make your grater work like new in just a few minutes.
Lemon
One way to sharpen a grater involves using lemon. Cut the lemon in half and rub the flesh firmly on the grater to remove any rust that may have dulled the blades. Then rinse the grater with warm water and dry it thoroughly. This approach not only sharpens the grater, but also leaves a fresh citrus flavor on it.

Aluminum foil
Another way to sharpen a grater is with aluminum foil. A piece of aluminum foil is crumpled and rubbed over the surface of the grater in different directions, serving as an abrasive to sharpen the blades. Afterwards, rinse the grater with warm water and remove the remaining foil with a brush.
Baking soda paste
For deeper cleaning and sharpening, prepare a paste of baking soda and water. Using a soft brush or cloth, apply this mixture to the sander, focusing on the areas with the most residue and dull edges. The mild abrasive properties of baking soda help to remove stubborn food particles and stains, thereby sharpening the grater as you go. Then it should be rinsed in warm water and completely dried before use.
