Removing blood stains from clothes can be a difficult task, but a few simple and effective methods can help solve this problem. UAportal has learned about life hacks that offer practical solutions for both fresh and dried stains.

Hydrogen peroxide

The stained fabric can be soaked in hydrogen peroxide for 5-10 minutes to break down the blood. The area should then be gently blotted with a clean cloth to remove the stain. After that, the cloth should be rinsed with cold water.

Salt and cold water

A mixture of salt and cold water can also be an effective remedy for removing blood stains. After preparing a paste of cold water and salt, apply it to the stained area and let it dry. Once dry, scrape off the salt paste and rinse the cloth with cold water.

Vinegar and baking soda

An effective method is to apply a paste of equal parts vinegar and baking soda to the stain. Leave the paste on for about 30 minutes and then rinse the fabric with cold water. After rinsing, the fabric can be washed as usual.
