Vinegar.
To use this method, equal parts white vinegar and water are mixed in a plastic bag and secured around the shower head. Leave it on for 30 minutes or overnight. After soaking, the bag can be removed and the shower head cleaned with a toothbrush or cloth to remove loose deposits.
Baking soda
Another option for removing limescale from your shower head is to use a baking soda paste. The paste is created by mixing baking soda with water until a thick consistency is formed. After applying to the affected areas, leave it on for 15-20 minutes, and then clean the shower head with a brush or cloth and rinse it thoroughly to remove the plaque.

Lemon juice
Lemon juice, known for its acidic properties, can also be used as a natural cleaner to remove limescale on the shower head. Cut the lemon in half and rub it directly into the affected areas. After the lemon juice is left for 10-15 minutes, the shower head can be wiped with a damp cloth.
Baking soda and vinegar solution
A powerful do-it-yourself remedy for removing or preventing limescale from forming on your shower head is to combine baking soda and vinegar to create a foaming solution. Apply it to the shower head and leave it on for 15-20 minutes, then scrub and rinse thoroughly to effectively remove the limescale.
