How to remove old wallpaper: three interesting life hacks

Removing old wallpaper can be a challenge. UAportal has found out how to effectively get rid of them with the help of improvised items.
Soap solution
To remove old wallpaper from the wall in one go, start by mixing warm water with laundry soap in a spray bottle. Thoroughly soak the wallpaper in the soapy water, making sure all areas are covered. Leave for 15-20 minutes to allow the solution to penetrate the wallpaper and loosen the adhesive.
Then use a spatula to gently lift the edges of the wallpaper. Slowly pull on the loose edges, adding more soap solution until the entire wallpaper comes off. Finally, wipe the wall with a damp sponge and remove any remaining adhesive.
Using fabric softener
Mix one part fabric softener with three parts hot water in a spray bottle. Spray the wallpaper liberally with the solution. Leave the solution on for 15-20 minutes to soften the adhesive under the wallpaper.

Then carefully peel the wallpaper away from the wall, starting from the corner. If the wallpaper doesn't come off easily, apply the fabric softener solution again and wait a few more minutes before trying to remove it. When the wallpaper is completely removed, wipe the wall with a cloth dampened in warm, soapy water.
Steam the wallpaper
Fill the steamer with water and let it heat up. Hold the steamer near the wallpaper for about 30 seconds to allow the steam to penetrate the paper and adhesive.
Once the heat has loosened the wallpaper, use a spatula to gently lift a corner of the wallpaper. Slowly remove the wallpaper from the wall, keeping the steamer close by. Once the wallpaper is removed, wipe the wall with a clean, damp cloth to get rid of any adhesive residue.
