How to make the most delicious mulled wine

With the approach of cold weather, the popularity of this ancient drink, popular among ancient Romans, is growing. Thus, it's time to stock up on good dry red wine and spices, and to save a couple of recipes. However, you need to remember some general recommendations for making the most delicious mulled wine first:
Mulled wine should not boil, otherwise its flavor and health benefits will be lost.
The permissible temperature for heating the drink is up to 70 degrees Celsius.
Red, dry and not strong wines are suitable for making mulled wine.
It is better to use whole spices, because ground ones will make the drink cloudy.
Mulled wine should be cooked in a fireproof dish, preferably not metal.
Pour it into tall glass glasses or clay mugs.
Drink only when hot.
