How to prepare drumsticks in a creamy turmeric sauce

Here is a recipe for cooking drumsticks in a creamy turmeric sauce:
Ingredients:
- Chicken drumsticks - 0.8 kg
- Onions - 0,2 kg (2 medium)
- Cream - 200 ml (20% fat or to your taste)
- Chili pepper - to taste
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves
- Turmeric - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil or butter for frying
Preparation:
1. Drumsticks:
Cut the drumsticks to the bone and open like a butterfly. Lightly season with salt.
2. Frying:
Heat the oil or butter in a pan. Fry the drumsticks over medium heat until golden brown (3-4 minutes on each side).
3. Prepare the base:
Cut the onion into thin rings and chop the garlic. In the same pan, fry the onion until soft (2-3 minutes). Add the garlic and stir.
4. Add spices:
Add turmeric and stir to release the flavor. Then add finely chopped chili (or half for a less spicy version).
5. Cream sauce:
Pour cream into a pan and bring to a boil. Put the drumsticks in the sauce, cover and simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes.
6. The final touch:
Add salt and, if necessary, a little more chili.
Serving:
Serve the drumsticks in the cream sauce with rice, mashed potatoes or fresh bread.
