Cleaning a wooden cutting board is essential for maintaining hygiene in the kitchen. UAportal told you about practical and effective life hacks for cleaning.

Lemon and salt

To clean a wooden cutting board, you can create a mixture of coarse salt and lemon juice. Sprinkle salt on the surface and then rub it with half a lemon. After the entire board is clean, leave the mixture on for 5-10 minutes, and then rinse with warm water.

Baking soda

To remove any unpleasant odors from a wooden board, you can make a paste of baking soda and water. Mix enough of each to get a spreadable consistency, and then apply the paste to the entire surface. It should be left on for at least 15-20 minutes to absorb all unwanted odors.

Oil and vinegar

For long-lasting protection and a beautiful look, you can coat the wooden board with a mixture of mineral oil and white vinegar. Mix equal parts of each in a small bowl, and then apply the mixture to the entire surface with a clean cloth.
