Fertilizing roses is crucial for achieving abundant flowering throughout the summer. UAportal tells you which fertilizer is better to choose.

Starting in early spring, after pruning dry or damaged branches, it is recommended to fertilize rose bushes. This procedure stimulates the development of shoots and promotes the formation of new buds.

Regular fertilization is the key to healthy rose growth. Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium are important components that should be included. These elements promote the growth of bushes and support the formation of buds.

In addition, the addition of trace elements such as zinc, magnesium and iron further strengthens the overall health of rose plants. Spring fertilization not only ensures intensive growth, but also protects against potential diseases.

Sufficient fertilization stimulates the development of leaves and shoots, while nitrogen plays a particularly important role in the formation of early spring buds. Phosphorus directly affects the number and quality of flowers, while potassium increases the plant's resistance. Magnesium becomes necessary during the period of flower budding.

When choosing mineral fertilizers, opt for those that promote rapid flower growth and increase the durability of cut roses. A suitable complex fertilizer for post-winter application is nitrate. It is recommended to add 15-20 grams of it to 10 liters of water and water the rose bush thoroughly.

To enhance growth stimulation, you can spray it with ammonium humate before flowering. This solution acts as a growth stimulant and improves the development of roses. Approximately three weeks after the first fertilization, it is recommended to feed roses with calcium nitrate.

Dissolve 20 grams of calcium nitrate in 10 liters of water, providing each bush with 5 liters of this mixture. When choosing a complex fertilizer, make sure that it is specifically designed for spring fertilization.

Such fertilizers contain not only essential nutrients but also trace elements that are important for roses. By following a regular fertilization schedule and providing roses with the necessary nutrients, you can promote healthy growth and abundant flowering.
