How to easily clean a kitchen hood

Caring for the hood is important to keep the kitchen clean. UAportal has learned about simple and practical life hacks to achieve this goal.

Vinegar and baking soda

In a spray bottle, mix equal parts vinegar and water. Then spray the solution onto the hood surface, leaving it on for a few minutes. Sprinkle baking soda on the damp surface and wipe off the dirt with a soft brush or cloth.

Lemon and salt

Cut the lemon in half and sprinkle it with salt. Then rub the greasy areas of the hood, using salt as a natural abrasive and lemon to break down the fat. After cleaning, wipe the hood with a damp cloth to remove any residue.

Steam cleaning

Boil a pot of water on the stove to allow steam to rise to the hood. It helps soften the grease and makes it easier to wipe off. After steaming, clean the surface with a microfiber cloth to remove any remaining dirt and grease.
