How to clean the dirt under the rim of the pan lid: 3 interesting life hacks

Cleaning pot lids can be a difficult task, especially when it comes to removing grease and soot under the rim and near the handles. UAportal has told you about three effective life hacks that will help you achieve sparkling clean pot lids.
Hydrogen peroxide
Pour hydrogen peroxide under the rim of the lid so that it is evenly distributed over the entire surface. Leave it on for about 15 minutes. Then sprinkle baking soda over the rim and use a metal brush to scrub away any dirt.
To make the cleaning process easier, gently run a knife under the lid. Finally, rinse the lid under running water to make it clean and shiny again.
Baking soda
Bring two liters of water to a boil in a large saucepan. Add two tablespoons of baking soda to the boiling water and gently put the lid on. Leave the mixture to boil for about 30 minutes. After that, use a metal brush to clean the dirt from the rim and rinse the lid thoroughly under running water.
Citric acid and vinegar
Before trying this method, it is important to remove all plastic elements from the lid, as the acid can damage them. Fill a large saucepan with water and immerse the lid completely in it. For every liter of water, add 25 grams of citric acid and a glass of 9% vinegar.
Boil the water for about 30 minutes, being careful not to exceed this time limit. After boiling, dirt can be easily removed with a metal brush. Finally, rinse the lid under running water and let it dry.
