When faced with the difficult task of cleaning a kettle filled with stubborn burnt fat, most people first turn to baking soda or commercial cleaning products. UAportal has revealed that there are alternative, effective methods that will help you get rid of this problem faster and without any hassle.

Toothpaste

Toothpaste is a surprisingly convenient solution for dealing with grease stains and soot. Apply it to a dry cloth and rub the affected surface in a circular motion.

After that, rinse the kettle thoroughly with hot water and wipe it dry with a clean towel. Do not use whitening toothpaste as it can damage the surface.

Activated charcoal

Grind about 10 activated charcoal tablets into a powder and wipe the inside of the kettle thoroughly. Leave the solution on for an hour and then rinse the kettle using a damp sponge. This method guarantees optimal results and effectively removes stubborn burnt grease.

Ammonia

Although not the most pleasant method due to its pungent odor, ammonia is very effective at removing burnt grease. Carefully apply 50-100 ml of ammonia to the surface of the kettle. Then place it in a sealed bag and close it for 10-12 hours.

After that, remove the kettle from the bag, wash it thoroughly, and wipe it with a damp sponge. For your safety, we recommend wearing a respirator and goggles during this procedure.
