Soaking in a baking soda solution

One of the most effective ways to whiten clothes is to soak them in a mixture of baking soda and water. This method helps to remove stains and lighten the fabric without harming it. Simply mix a solution of water and baking soda, then soak the clothes for a few hours, and then wash them as usual.

Using lemon juice

Another way to whiten clothes is to use lemon juice. The natural acid in lemon helps to brighten the fabric and remove stains. Mix one part of juice with three parts of water, then soak the clothes in this solution for several hours, and then wash them in the usual way.

Oxygen bleach

Oxygen bleach will help remove strong and old stains. This type of bleach is less harsh than chlorine bleach and is also safe for colored clothes. Just follow the instructions on the label and make sure to completely dissolve the bleach in water before putting the clothes in.

Vinegar rinse

Using vinegar as a clothes rinse will help remove soap residue and brighten the fabric. Simply add half a cup of distilled white vinegar at the end of the wash and let the clothes dry in the sun, if possible. The vinegar smell will dissipate as it dries.
