Cleaning a bathtub from old stains and rust can be a challenge, but with the right methods, it can be achieved. UAportal has found out how to solve this common problem.

Using white vinegar and baking soda

To clean the bathtub from old stains and rust, the first step is to mix white vinegar and baking soda in equal parts to form a paste. The paste should be applied to the contaminated areas of the bathtub and left for about 15 minutes. After that, the stains should be wiped off with a sponge or brush and then rinsed off with water.

Lemon and salt scrub

Another effective way to clean your bathtub from old stains and rust is with a lemon-salt scrub. To do this, cut the lemon in half and dip the cut side in salt. Then rub it on the contaminated areas of the bathtub. After scrubbing, rinse the bathtub thoroughly with water.

Hydrogen peroxide and toothpaste

A mixture of hydrogen peroxide and toothpaste can also be very effective in cleaning old stains and rust from the bathtub. To use this mixture, mix the two ingredients to form a paste and apply it to the stained areas. Leave on for 30 minutes and then scrub off with a sponge or brush.

Regular maintenance
