How to clean silver at home

Absolutely everyone wants their silver jewelry to remain shiny and clean for as long as possible. UAportal tells you how you can clean your jewelry at home without causing damage.
Baking soda and foil
Silver can be cleaned with baking soda and aluminum foil: place the foil in a deep bowl with the shiny side up, fill it with hot water, and add 1-3 tablespoons of baking soda. Tarnished silver items should be carefully placed in the solution, making sure that each part touches the surface, for about 5-10 minutes. After soaking, rinse the items and polish them dry with a soft cloth.
Toothpaste
Another effective life hack for cleaning silver is the use of non-gel toothpaste. Apply a small amount to a damp cloth and then gently rub the darkened areas of the jewelry.
Vinegar and baking soda
A simple but effective life hack for cleaning silver is to soak darkened items in a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda. Put the jewelry in a deep bowl, pour vinegar over it, add a few tablespoons of baking soda to the mixture, and leave for 2-3 hours. Then rinse and dry the items thoroughly.
