How to clean the windshield to a shine: 3 effective life hacks

UAportal has shared some simple and eco-friendly life hacks for cleaning windshields from dirt. Find out how you can achieve a perfect result with the help of improvised means.

Vinegar

Mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. This solution should be throughoutly applied to the windshield, paying particular attention to areas with severe contamination. Leave the product on for a few minutes to dissolve and loosen dirt. Then, using a microfiber cloth, wipe off the solution and any deposits, leaving the windshield clean and clear.

Coffee grounds

The granularity of coffee grounds acts as a gentle exfoliant to help remove stubborn deposits and gnats. Once the entire windshield has been treated, the residue can be wiped off with a damp cloth. Next, wash it with your regular car wash to remove any residue and leave the surface streak-free.

Dryer sheets

Use a drying sheet dampened with water to gently wipe the windshield, focusing on particularly dirty areas. Softening properties help to loosen and remove dirt, which will improve its removal.
