UAportal has prepared life hacks that will help you clean your shower head as simply and efficiently as possible. Find out how to achieve the desired result with the help of products that are always at hand.

Soak in vinegar

Fill a plastic bag with vinegar and tie it around the head so that the nozzles are submerged. It should be left for several hours or overnight to allow the vinegar to break down the deposits. After soaking, remove the bag and turn on the shower to rinse off any residual product and loosened plaque.

Lemon juice and baking soda paste

Prepare a paste by mixing lemon juice and baking soda until a thick consistency is formed. Apply it to the watering can and leave it on for about 30 minutes. The natural acidity of the lemon juice will help break down the limescale, while the abrasive nature of the baking soda will help remove it.

Disassembly for cleaning

If limescale build-up is severe, the shower head can be disassembled for thorough cleaning. Use pliers to loosen the connections. Soak the removed nozzle in a vinegar solution or a mixture of lemon juice and water to dissolve the limescale. With a small brush or toothbrush, you can clean the individual nozzles and crevices to ensure that all dirt is removed.
