You can whiten a plastic window sill using simple and practical methods using ordinary household items. UAportal said that using such household products as vinegar, lemon juice and hydrogen peroxide, you can achieve excellent results.

Vinegar and baking soda solution

To whiten a plastic window sill, you can create a cleaning solution using equal parts white vinegar and baking soda. These two ingredients are mixed to form a paste, which is then applied to the desired areas.

After the paste has set for 15-20 minutes, it can be wiped off with a damp cloth. Finally, the window sill should be rinsed with clean water to remove any residue.

Lemon juice and sunlight

Another effective method of whitening a plastic window sill is to use lemon juice and sunlight. It should be squeezed onto the stained areas and left for 30-60 minutes in the sunlight. This combination can naturally whiten the stains and make the window sill whiter and brighter.

Hydrogen peroxide and toothpaste

For stubborn stains on a plastic window sill, you can mix hydrogen peroxide and toothpaste. Once the mixture is ready, it should be applied to the stained areas and left for an hour. After the specified time, the area should be cleaned with a soft-bristled brush and then rinsed with water.
