How to make towels smell great

Vinegar and baking soda

One of the most effective methods of eliminating unpleasant odors from towels is washing in a solution of white vinegar and baking soda. Pour hot water into a deep container, add a glass of white vinegar, and leave for 30 minutes. Then add half a cup of baking soda to the washing machine and wash the towels as usual.

Lemon juice

An alternative method to freshen up your towels is to use lemon juice. Soak the towels in a solution of water and lemon juice for about an hour, wring out, and then hang them up to dry.

Essential oil

For a quick and easy way to freshen up your towels, you can use an essential oil spray. Mix a few drops of lavender or tea tree oil, for example, with water in a spray bottle. Shake lightly, spray onto the towels, and let them dry.
