To prepare a traditional garden infusion, finely chop nettle leaves and fill a plastic container. Pour boiling water over the leaves and close the container tightly. Leave the mixture to steep for 10-14 days.

Before using nettle infusion as a fertilizer, it is important to understand its compatibility with different plants. Concentrated nettle juice may not be suitable for all crops, so it is recommended to apply the infusion around the base of the plant rather than near the stem.

Strawberries

Fertilizing strawberries with nettle infusion along with bread or fresh yeast can increase the sweetness of the fruit and strengthen the root system of plants. Apply the infusion 2-3 times a week for three weeks.

Flowers can benefit greatly from nettle fertilizer, which also acts as a formidable agent against aphids. It is enough to mix nettle infusion with ash and apply one glass of the mixture under each bush twice a week.

Cucumbers and tomatoes

Start protecting your cucumber plants from common infections by taking preventive measures in the early stages. Spray 2-3 bushes of seedlings with one glass of nettle infusion at least once a week.

Remember that it is important to avoid watering peas, beans, onions, and garlic with nettle solution. The strong mixture can be aggressive and negatively affect the overall yield of these crops.
