It can be difficult to withstand high temperatures, especially when exposed to direct sunlight. The main thing is to dress properly to endure the heat. UAportal tells you about the most important tips that will help you with this.

Give preference to breathable fabrics

When it comes to summer clothes, choose fabrics that are breathable, allowing your body to breathe. Choose materials that do not stick to the skin and quickly absorb and evaporate moisture, contributing to proper thermoregulation. Ideal fabrics include linen, silk, cotton, and even viscose and staple from the more budget-friendly range.

Choose lighter colors and comfortable clothes

Physics teaches us that dark colors attract heat and light colors repel it. Therefore, for hot days, it is best to choose clothes in white, beige, or other light colors. This way, you allow the sun's heat to reflect off your outfit while keeping you cool.

Tight clothing restricts airflow and hinders your body's ability to breathe. This creates a greenhouse effect under the fabric, which can potentially lead to skin irritation. Keep the oversized trend alive in the summer season as it allows for more air circulation and promotes comfort.

Choose the right shoes

Comfort should always be a priority, regardless of the season. In summer, choose lightweight and breathable shoes. If you prefer heels, choose a height of three to four centimeters to ensure both style and comfort. Open-toed shoes are ideal for hot days, allowing your feet to breathe.

However, as sneakers have become an integral part of the modern wardrobe, be sure to pair them with lightweight socks made from natural materials. Fabric-based shoes are also a great option as they allow for air circulation.

Remember the essentials

Before you go outside, don't forget to take care of your sun protection. Apply sunscreen and wear sunglasses and a suitable hat.
