Yellowed tile joints can make your home look untidy. However, experienced housewives have found effective methods of whitening. UAportal told you that thanks to three life hacks, you can easily restore the well-groomed look of your kitchen or bathroom.

Baking soda

Soda has earned its reputation among many thanks to the effective whitening of the joints between tiles. Make a paste by dissolving the baking soda in a little water. Carefully apply the paste to the grout, leaving it on for about 10 minutes, and then remove it with a stiff brush.

Mustard, baking soda and lemon

This method is ideal for cleaning very stubborn tiles and gives excellent results. Prepare a mixture by mixing one large spoonful of mustard, two spoonsfuls of baking soda, the juice from a slice of lemon, and a small amount of toothpaste.

Mix the ingredients and add a little water to achieve the desired consistency. Leave this mixture on the seams for about 30 minutes and then remove with a soft brush.

Hydrogen peroxide

When you need a lightweight cleaner with antibacterial properties, hydrogen peroxide is an excellent and cost-effective solution. Mix one part hydrogen peroxide with two parts water in a spray bottle. Use this solution to clean the joints between the tiles.
