UAportal has prepared simple and clear tips for those who want to keep their kitchens in perfect condition. We are talking about methods that provide effective solutions for removing carbon deposits and old fat from pans.

Baking soda

A paste of equal parts baking soda and white vinegar can be applied to the contaminated areas of the pan and left for 10-15 minutes, then wiped off with a sponge and finally rinsed off with water. This gentle method effectively removes grease and soot without damaging the surface of the pan.

Alternatively, sprinkle the soot with salt and pour a small amount of baking soda on it. Then scrub the pan with a scrubber to take advantage of the abrasive action of the salt combined with the carbonization of the baking soda.

Vinegar and soap

Prepare a degreaser by mixing equal parts water and distilled white vinegar in a spray bottle and apply it to the dirty areas of the pan. Leave it on for a few minutes and then wipe it off with a cloth.

To remove stubborn grease, fill the pan with water and add a few drops of laundry soap. Next, bring the mixture to a boil, let it cool, then scrub with a scrubber to soften and remove any stubborn residue.

Lemon juice

Lemon juice can also be used as a natural degreaser. Squeeze one lemon on the soot and leave it for 5-10 minutes for the acid to break down the grease and make it easier to remove with a sponge or scraper.
