Fighting negativity: simple ways to get rid of bad energy at home

Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining a favorable atmosphere. Start by opening all the windows in your apartment to allow fresh air to circulate.

Sort through any old, broken, or unused items and throw them away. This physical cleansing process will help eliminate stagnant energy in your space.

The power of fire

Lighting candles is a popular method of clearing your living space of negativity. Light a white candle and start at the front door, moving counterclockwise throughout the apartment. While performing this ritual, mentally seek protection and touch the walls and corners.

If the candle flame behaves unusually, such as flickering or crackling, spend more time in that area. After the cleansing ritual is complete, extinguish the candle, preferably outside, or bury it in the ground. Alternatively, you can use scented candles or incense to create a calming atmosphere and help you relax.

Evening chimes for harmony

Gather the whole family and perform this ritual in the evening. Using a metal bell, start at the front door and move counterclockwise through each room.

Ring the bell throughout the room, paying attention to places where the sound fluctuates or scatters. Keep ringing the bell in these places until the vibrations resonate clearly and harmoniously.

The effects of salt

Salt is known for its purifying properties. Make a solution by mixing 5-7 tablespoons of salt with 5 liters of water and pour it into a spray bottle.

Spray this solution throughout the apartment or place containers of salt in corners and secluded places. Sprinkle salt on upholstered furniture and carpets and leave for an hour before vacuuming or brushing. Alternatively, you can sprinkle a pinch of salt in each corner, sweeping it up in the morning and flushing it down the toilet.

To prevent the return of negative energy, sprinkle salt at the threshold during each cleaning.
