5 things most people store incorrectly

Most housewives store many familiar items incorrectly. Although at first it may not seem very harmful, if you get rid of these habits, you can significantly extend their service life. UAportal has prepared five items that are most often stored incorrectly.
Woolen clothes
When it comes to woolen and knitted items, hanging them on hangers may seem like a convenient option to prevent wrinkles. This kind of storage can quickly stretch and distort the shape of the garment. Instead, it is recommended to fold them neatly and place them on a shelf.
Perfumes
Eau de toilette and perfume are sensitive to high temperatures and direct sunlight. Avoid storing them in the bathroom or on the dressing table because the smell of these fragrances can deteriorate over time. It is better to choose a cool and dimly lit place for storage.
Kitchen utensils
Stacking pans and pots on top of each other can save space, but it can damage the nonstick coating. It is advisable to store these items separately, perhaps in a special drawer, and cover them with paper towels for extra protection.
Knives
Pull-out shelves may seem convenient for storing knives, but they can cause the blades to lose their sharpness due to frequent contact with other objects. To prevent this, use a plastic stand or magnetic holder to securely hold them and keep their cutting edge.
Toothbrushes
Bacteria can easily spread on toothbrushes, especially if there is a restroom nearby. For better hygiene, store your toothbrushes in a special cabinet or nightstand when not in use.
