If a combination of vinegar and liquid soap can easily remove pencil marks from walls, it's because vinegar has powerful stain removal properties. When added to a cleaning agent such as dishwashing liquid, this same power increases tenfold.
First, you need to determine the type of paint that was left on the walls. If it's latex paint, mix 3-4 caps of dishwashing liquid in a 4-liter bucket of water, then add 3 tablespoons of white vinegar. Take a sponge, soak it in the solution, wring it out, and rub the pencil marks on the wall. Regardless of the type of latex paint, this solution will work. Alternatively, of course, you can replace the dishwashing detergent with black soap or liquid Marseille soap.
If the paint on the dirty wall is oil-based, the mixture will be different, because in this case it will be appropriate to add an additional ingredient, namely a degreaser. Add this to the same dose of vinegar and dishwashing liquid mentioned above, then wipe the mixture to degrease the pencil marks and expose the wall without any marks. This mixture is also great for kitchen walls.
What other surfaces can benefit from a combination of vinegar and dishwashing liquid
1. Cleaning sinks. The bottom of the sink is often filled with dirt, soap scum, and mineral deposits, but all of these things can be easily washed away by the combined action of vinegar and dishwashing liquid.
For convenience, add the two ingredients to a spray bottle and spray on the areas to be cleaned, then wipe the sink with a damp sponge.
2. Cleaning the toilet. The toilet bowl is one of the places most susceptible to bacteria, hard water stains, and thus limescale deposits. With the duo of vinegar and dishwashing liquid, you can easily remove all of this.
Spray the solution onto the walls with a spray bottle and leave it on for a few minutes. Ideally, wait 20-30 minutes to see the effect. Use a toilet brush to scrub the areas and then flush the toilet until the product residue is completely gone.
3. Removing mold in the bathroom. To remove mold from bathroom surfaces, simply spray the mixture on the tiles, bathtub bottom, or shower bottom. After rinsing, traces of mold should disappear completely.
