Experts tell about a homemade remedy that will make clothes white again

White clothes and socks can quickly become dull and stained. Usually, a simple wash is not enough to restore the white color to your clothes.

However, experts advise against using store-bought bleach. Instead, an effective remedy can be made at home, according to Express.co.uk.

Put the white item in a bowl and cover it with warm water to completely cover it. Then add a quarter cup of hydrogen peroxide (for brightening and disinfecting), one cup of baking soda (for deodorizing and brightening), and one teaspoon of dish soap.

This powerful mixture removes stains and makes white clothes brighter. Depending on the stain, you may not need to use dish soap, as it is only needed to remove oil-based stains.

Leave the item in the homemade solution for an hour or two, then wash it in the washing machine as usual.
