According to experts, towels smell better if you use white vinegar instead of fabric softener. White vinegar is great for removing and preventing musty odors when washing towels.

The ingredient contains acetic acid, which breaks down mineral deposits and dissolves dirt that has accumulated on towels. It can also be used to wash other laundry.

Towel softener, on the other hand, coats the fibers, trapping odor-causing bacteria in them. Vinegar will destroy this coating.

For any normal wash, you need to add about 60 ml of white vinegar. This does not cause any problems, and the washing machine will not have mold or an unpleasant odor.
