Seedlings grow like yeast: these common wastes can help

For seedlings to grow strong and healthy, they need to be fertilized and cared for. Usually, gardeners use a variety of fertilizers or liquids that nourish the sprouts.
However, you can do without store-bought products and try to use what is usually sent to waste.
For example, tea bags can be used. Tea leaves contain about 4.15% nitrogen and other nutrients that nourish the soil, improve its structure and drainage. The tannic acid in tea bags can lower the pH of the soil, which is beneficial for some crops.
How to use tea bags in the garden
1. Composting:
Add the tea bags to the compost pit after removing the paper clips. Brewed tea has a positive effect on the soil, contributing to the rapid decomposition of organic products and saturating the soil with nutrients.
2. A pest control agent:
Brew loose tea from old teabags and use the drink to water your plants. This will help repel pests in the garden and prevent fungal diseases.
3. Disinfect greenhouses:
With the help of iodine and tea bags, you can block the spread of late blight.Take a food foam tray, put tea bags with the saved ropes in it. Fill the tea bags with iodine - they should be well saturated. Place wooden stakes next to the stems of the plants and hang the iodine-soaked tea bags on them.
4. Feeding the plants:
Tea leaves serve as an organic fertilizer.Pour the brew from the bag into the garden and mix it with the soil. Tea attracts earthworms, which loosen the soil and create drainage.
5. Growing seedlings:
Try growing seedlings in tea bags instead of peat tablets or plastic cups. Cut off the top of the bag, add some soil to the brew, and plant the seeds. As soon as the seedlings germinate, transplant them into the garden without removing them from the tea bag.
Tea bags can be a useful tool for gardening. By reusing them, you not only take care of the environment, but also save money and get a better harvest.
