Walking will be safe: a homemade spray against bloodsuckers will help

May and June is the time when ticks are especially active. The bite of these insects may go unnoticed by humans, but it can be dangerous. Ticks transmit diseases such as encephalitis, borreliosis, and fever, so you should be especially careful when you go hiking or outdoors.
Experts advise dressing properly for walks: you need tight pants that are tucked into socks, a long-sleeved sweatshirt, and a hat. Choose light-colored clothes to make it easier to spot a tick. Avoid shrubs and tall grass, which are favorite places for ticks.
If you want to make a tick repellent spray, dissolve tea tree oil, clove oil, spruce oil, or eucalyptus oil in water in the proportion of half a teaspoon per 100 ml of water. Spray on exposed areas of the body and spray on clothes. These smells will repel ticks.Geranium and lavender are flowers that ticks do not like. Instead of using repellents, mix 2 tablespoons of these flower oils in a glass of water and add a little alcohol. This mixture will retain its properties for six months.
Natural apple cider vinegar also has tick repellent properties. Lubricate your skin and clothes with it before going outdoors. Remember to dilute the vinegar with water to avoid burns.
Onions and garlic are other tick repellents. Eat some onions or garlic before going for a walk, or rub them on your skin. The smell of these foods will scare away ticks and can help you avoid mosquito bites.
