Couch potatoes: the top laziest dog breeds

Many people believe that dogs need constant movement and active walks, but there are breeds that lead a quiet lifestyle and do not require significant physical activity. This knowledge can be useful for those looking for a four-legged friend.
According to the Express, Rachel Rogers, the founder of Nose to Trail, a service that specializes in dog behavior and strengthening the bond between dogs and their owners, has identified several breeds that require minimal exercise. She explained that some dogs are naturally less energetic, especially small and decorative breeds.

These breeds include French bulldogs, Chihuahuas, Shih Tzus, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. French Bulldogs have a low energy level and are quite content with short walks or light play. Chihuahuas get tired quickly, so their physical activity is usually limited to short walks outside or playing at home. Shih Tzus love short walks, but most of all they appreciate a quiet time with their owner. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels prefer a measured pace of life, needing only unobtrusive walks and a lot of attention.
Unexpectedly, this list also includes greyhounds, which, despite their past in the world of racing, require much less physical activity after their career is over. They are happy with short walks and light exercises, and they need mental stimulation and interaction with their owners to feel good.
Rachel also advised those who want a dog with minimal physical needs to look at older animals. They are usually less active and are quite content with toys or simple activities at home.
