How to get slugs out of the garden: one effective method will help

Slugs are common in many gardens and are harmful to plants. Gardening expert Amy, also known online as "The Self-Taught Gardener," shared her budget-friendly and effective slug control methods to help you keep your garden safe. She posted a video of how she fights slugs on her TikTok page.
How to protect a plant from slugs:
Put the plant in a pot. Lift the pot onto a metal stand.
Lubricate the edges and legs of the stand with petroleum jelly.
Place copper cleaning sponges around the base of the plant.
Spray the plant with garlic spray.

- Inspect plants regularly for slugs.
- Collect slugs by hand or use traps.
