How to wear new shoes: an effective life hack
There are several simple and effective methods that can help you spread out your shoes and make them more comfortable

Buying new shoes is always an exciting event, as they can add a touch of flavor to your look. However, it often happens that the shoes or boots turn out to be a little tight and uncomfortable to wear. You shouldn't immediately send them back or have them repaired, because there are several simple and effective methods to help you spread your shoes and make them more comfortable. Glavred writes about it.

Special products to soften the leather:

One of the easiest and most effective ways is to use special chemicals that can be found in shoe stores or specialized departments. These products, in the form of sprays or foams, are designed to soften the leather, making the shoe more flexible and comfortable.

Advantages of using special products:

  • Do not harm the shoe material.
  • Do not leave stains or discoloration.
  • They work quickly and effectively.

How to use:

  • Apply the product to the inside of the shoe, focusing on problem areas.
  • Put on thick socks and shoes that you want to wear.
  • Walk around for 30-60 minutes to allow the leather to soften and conform to the shape of your foot.

Home methods:

If you don't want to use chemicals, you can try one of the home methods:

  • Potatoes: Peel a potato and cut it into pieces that fit the shape of your shoes. Fill the shoes with potatoes and leave them overnight.
  • Newspapers: Soak newspapers in water and squeeze them out. Stuff the shoes tightly with wet newspapers and leave them overnight.
  • Freezing: Fill a plastic bag with water and place it inside the shoes. Then place the shoes in the freezer overnight. The water will turn to ice and expand, stretching the shoes.

Quick methods:

If you urgently need to get your shoes out, here are some quick methods:

  • Thick socks: Put on thick socks and wear your shoes for a few hours.
  • Hair dryer: Turn on a hair dryer on the hot air setting and aim it at the areas of the shoe that are pressing. Hold the hair dryer at a distance of 15-20 cm for 30 seconds, and then put the shoes on with thick socks. Repeat the procedure several times.
  • Alcohol: Moisten a cotton ball with alcohol and wipe the inside of the shoes with it. The alcohol will help soften the leather.

Remember:

  • Do not try to carry shoes that are too small. This can cause deformation and damage to the shoe.
  • If you experience severe discomfort, it is better to contact a shoe repair specialist.
  • Patience and accuracy are the keys to success. Take your time, and your shoes will definitely become comfortable.
