Cottage cheese casseroles are a delicious and healthy dish that is loved by both adults and children. They can be prepared in different ways by adding different ingredients, but the classic recipe with semolina remains one of the most popular.

The recipe was shared by theLime. For a more delicate flavor, you can add a little lemon zest or vanilla extract to the dough. If you want the casserole to be juicier, you can add chopped fruit or berries to the dough. The finished casserole can be decorated with chocolate glaze, whipped cream or sour cream.


  • Cottage cheese - 500 g
  • Eggs - 3 pcs.
  • Butter - 60 g
  • Sour cream - 3 tbsp. l
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Semolina - 3 tbsp
  • Vanilla sugar - optional


  1. Melt the butter and mix it with sugar, semolina, sour cream, salt and vanilla sugar. Mix everything thoroughly.
  2. Add cottage cheese and eggs, beat with a blender until smooth. You can also beat with a mixer for a few minutes.
  3. Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the batter into it.
  4. Bake in the oven at 160°C for 70-90 minutes. The temperature should not be too high, so that the casserole is tender and fluffy.
  5. To check if the casserole is ready, you can take a wooden skewer or toothpick. If it comes out dry, the casserole is ready.
  6. Take the casserole out of the oven and let it cool.
