How to cook tender and juicy meatballs in a creamy sauce: a simple recipe

You can add grated carrots, herbs, or other vegetables to the minced meat. The cream sauce can be made more flavorful by adding nutmeg, thyme, or other herbs. Water can be used instead of broth. Delicious meatballs can be cooked in the oven. The recipe was shared on theLime website.
Ingredients:
- 700 g of minced meat (according to your taste)
- 1 egg yolk
- 50 g of breadcrumbs
- 1/2 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 50 g of butter
- 1 tbsp of flour
- 300 ml of broth (meat or vegetable)
- 200 ml of cream (10-20%)
Preparation:
- Chop the onion and garlic, add to the minced meat. Add salt, pepper and other spices to your taste. Stir in the egg yolk and breadcrumbs. Mix the minced meat thoroughly with your hands.
- Form the minced meat into small walnut-sized balls.
- Fry the meatballs in a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil until golden brown. Transfer to a plate.
- Remove the remaining oil and onion from the pan and wipe it dry. Melt the butter and add the flour. Stir and toast the flour a little.
- Gradually pour in the broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Add the cream and bring to a boil.
- Put the meatballs in the cream sauce, cover with a lid. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat, let the dish cool slightly. Serve with any side dish: pasta, rice, potatoes, or vegetables.
