How to cook pollock in pita bread: an original recipe

Want to diversify your menu and cook something new and delicious? Try this recipe for pollock in pita bread! The fish turns out to be incredibly juicy, tender, and flavorful, and the pita bread makes it hearty.
This recipe from the One Minute website is very simple and quick, and the result will pleasantly surprise you. Fish in pita bread will be a great dinner or lunch for the whole family.
For cooking, you will need:
- Pollock fillet - 1.5 kg
- Egg - 1 pc
- Mayonnaise - 300 g
- Mustard in grains - 2 tsp
- Hard cheese - 200 g
- Onion - 1 pc
- Greens - 30 g
- Tomatoes - 3 pcs
- Pita bread (20x30 cm)
- Salt and pepper to taste
For greasing:
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Sour cream - 2 tsp.
Preparation:
- Rinse the fish, pat dry, and cut into portions. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a bowl, mix the egg, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and grated cheese. Add the chopped herbs.
- Cut the onion and tomatoes into slices.
- Cut the pita bread into 20x30 cm pieces. Put 2 tomato rings, onion and a piece of fish on each piece of pita bread. Cover with the cheese filling.
- Wrap the pita bread in an envelope.
- Place the envelopes on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Brush them with a mixture of egg and sour cream.
- Bake in a preheated 180°C oven for 30-35 minutes.
