How to clean glass molds from carbon deposits: life hack with foil

Glass baking dishes are practical and convenient, but burnt sauces and other foods can be a real problem. Conventional dishwashing detergents don't always cope with such deposits, and harsh brushes can scratch the delicate glass surface.
That's where a simple life hack with foil comes in handy, helping you to easily clean any dish. Obozrevatel writes about it.
You will need:
- A small piece of foil
- Warm water
- Dishwashing detergent
Instructions:
- Tear off a piece of foil and roll it into a tight ball.
- Wet a dish with lukewarm water and apply a drop of dishwashing detergent.
- Using light circular motions, rub the foil ball off the carbon deposits.
- If necessary, soak the pot in warm soapy water overnight to soften the carbon deposits.
- In the morning, repeat the foil cleaning with a little more dishwashing liquid.
Important:
- Do not use this method on non-stick cookware, as the foil may scratch it.
- For more stubborn stains, you can add a little baking soda or salt to the foil.
- Do not rub the foil too hard to avoid damaging the cookware.
Additional tips:
- You can use vinegar to clean glass. Mix vinegar with water in a 1:1 ratio and soak the dish for 30 minutes. Then, wash the dishes as usual.
- Lemon juice can be used to remove odors from dishes. Rub the dish with a slice of lemon or add lemon juice to the dishwashing water.
