Sometimes you can see faucets that are covered with such a dense coating that the thought of cleaning them seems impossible. Of course, it is better to take cleanliness seriously from the start and remove dirt as soon as it appears.

However, if you're already faced with a thick layer of plaque, don't rush to buy a new faucet. There is a way to restore the old one, and ordinary vinegar can help you with this. The UAportal team talks about this life hack.

How to use vinegar correctly

It should be emphasized that this method is not the most pleasant due to the pungent smell of vinegar. Therefore, it is important to protect not only the skin of your hands but also your respiratory tract.

  1. You can simply fill the faucet with the product and cover it with napkins.
  2. Another option is to soak a paper towel in vinegar and wrap it around the faucet.
  3. You need to wait about 30 minutes. Then remove the towel or napkin and check the effect.

Usually, after such a "cleaning mask," the deposits are washed off without effort. You just need to rinse the faucet with water and wipe it dry.
