These plants should be in every home: help prevent dampness and mold

Mold in the house can be dangerous for the health of not only people but also pets. It can cause allergic reactions and lead to the development of asthma. Some types of mold release spores into the air, so it is better not to stay in such a room.
Mold can be caused by excessive moisture in the house. This also leads to an unpleasant odor.
Fortunately, there are natural ways to combat mold, such as indoor plants that absorb moisture and purify the air.
Here are some of them that can be placed in any room, even in the bathroom:
1. Chlorophytum (spider plant)
Scientific name: Chlorophytum comosum. Effectively absorbs moisture from the air, including condensation. It is an unpretentious plant that is suitable for any room, except for places near radiators.
2. Spathiphyllum
Scientific name: Spathiphyllum. Loves moisture and actively absorbs it. Helps in the fight against mold and mildew. It is unpretentious to care for, needs only light watering and indirect lighting.
3. Boston fern
Scientific name: Nephrolepis exaltata Bostoniensis. Ideal for humid places because it absorbs a lot of moisture. Does not require strong lighting. Effectively fights mold and regulates the humidity level in the room.
