Experts from the American Kennel Club have identified 21 breeds of dogs that require minimal care. It is important to remember that each dog has its own unique character, just like people. Womansday writes about it.

Dogs that require minimal care

French Bulldog This popular breed is known for its adaptability. French Bulldogs do not need long walks, get along well with other animals, and are suitable for families with children.

Chihuahua A compact breed with a great character. Chihuahuas adapt well to city life, and their coat (short or long) does not require careful grooming.

Dachshund These dogs are always happy and friendly. They come in different sizes and types of coat (smooth, hard, long), but all variants shed moderately.

Pug Pugs are always cheerful and inquisitive. They are not picky about their living conditions, but due to the structure of their muzzle, they prefer to live in a temperate climate.

Shih Tzu Although their long hair needs regular brushing, these dogs love to spend time at home and get along well with children.

Basset Hound This calm breed needs regular grooming, but does not require long walks. They are ideal for home comfort.

Pomeranian Spitz Small but active dogs that get along well with children. Short walks and games at home are enough for them.

Bichon Frise Cheerful, friendly dogs that are suitable for city life. Their coat needs grooming, but they hardly ever shed.

Pekingese These dogs are attached to their owners, but they tolerate communication with children. Their care is quite simple.

Shetland Sheepdog This is an intelligent, friendly breed that loves children and needs moderate grooming.

Tibetan Spaniel Friendly and compact, these dogs are well suited for both apartments and country houses.
