The classic salad with crab sticks has long been a familiar guest on our tables. But if you want to surprise your guests with an unusual and tasty dish, try making Olenka salad.

The secrets of cooking were shared on the Telegraph website. To make the mushrooms more flavorful, you can fry them with garlic. If you don't like onions, you can leave them out of the salad. For a more delicate flavor, the salad can be seasoned not only with mayonnaise but also with sour cream or yogurt.


  • Champignons - 750 g
  • Crab sticks - 400 g
  • Eggs - 5 pcs.
  • Fresh cucumbers - 4 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise - 100 g
  • Parsley - 1 bunch
  • Onions - 1 pc.

Method of preparation:

  1. Peel, wash and cut the mushrooms into random pieces.
  2. Peel and chop the onion finely. Fry in a preheated frying pan with the mushrooms until tender.
  3. Wash and dice the cucumbers and cut the peeled crab sticks into strips.
  4. Boil the eggs hard-boiled, let them cool, peel them from the shell and cut them into cubes.
  5. Mix the prepared ingredients in a salad bowl, season with salt, and add chopped parsley. Dress the salad with mayonnaise, mix thoroughly and serve.
