Juicy chicken with tomatoes in their own juice
Ingredients:
- Tomatoes in their own juice (homemade) - 1 liter
- Chicken sous vide - 300 g
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves
- Swan salt - to taste
- Butter - 50 g
- Walnuts (chopped) - 50 g
- Hot chili pepper - to taste
Cooking process:
1. Chicken: if you do not have ready-made chicken sous vide, prepare it in advance. Cooking temperature: 65°C, time: 1.5-2 hours.
2. Tomatoes: add the tomatoes in their own juice to the pan and mash them a little with a fork. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
3. Garlic and pepper: chop the garlic and hot chili pepper. Melt the butter in a frying pan and add to the boiling tomatoes until they become fragrant.
4. Add the chopped chicken to the sauce, stir, and add Swan salt to taste. Leave on low heat for another 5 minutes.
5. Nuts: before serving, add the chopped walnuts and stir.
Serve the chicken with tomato sauce, garnished with hot pepper rings or a sprig of greens. It goes perfectly with rice, couscous or just a piece of crusty bread.
