Tomatoes
Refrigerating tomatoes disrupts the ripening process, causing them to lose their flavor and become powdery. It's a good idea to store them at room temperature, stem side down, to prevent moisture loss and ensure maximum freshness.
Onions
Refrigerating onions should be avoided as the moisture inside causes the plant to become soft and moldy. Instead, store it in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, such as a mesh bag or basket.
Garlic
In addition, garlic should not be stored in the refrigerator. Cold temperatures and moisture can make it rubbery and moldy. Store garlic in a dry, ventilated area at room temperature, using a brown paper bag to circulate air.
Bread
It is not recommended to store bread in the refrigerator, as low temperatures accelerate the drying process, leading to rapid staling. To keep it fresh and soft, store it at room temperature in a bread box or airtight container. Also, avoid direct sunlight.
