When it comes to cleaning perfume stains, certain natural methods have proven to be highly effective. UAportal has found out how to achieve clean and fresh smelling clothes with the help of easily available products.

Vinegar

When it comes to removing perfume stains from clothes, one of the most effective tips is to use white vinegar. Apply a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar to the stained area. Leave it on for a few minutes and then gently blot the area with a clean cloth.

This will help break down and remove the perfume stain from the fabric. After that, wash the garment as usual to remove the lingering vinegar odor.

Baking soda

Another useful tip for removing perfume stains from clothes is to use baking soda. Creating a paste by mixing baking soda with water and then applying it to the stained area can provide effective results.

Gently rub the paste into the fabric and leave it on for about 30 minutes. After that, rinse with cold water. The absorbent properties of baking soda will lift and absorb the perfume stain from the garment.

Lemon juice

Using lemon juice as a natural remedy is also effective for removing perfume stains from clothes. Squeeze fresh lemon juice onto the stained area and leave it on for a few minutes.

Then wash the clothes with cold water and let them air dry. This is to allow the citric acid to break down and remove perfume stains, leaving a fresh citrus scent.
