How easy it is to whiten things: Useful tips
Looking for ways to effectively whiten fabrics without using harsh chemicals? UAportal has shared practical tips to help make things whiter using natural and gentle methods.
Lemon juice for natural whitening
Instead of commercial bleach, you can use lemon juice. Apply equal parts of lemon juice and water to the fabric and leave it in direct sunlight for several hours. Citric acid helps to whiten and brighten. After the lemon juice has dried, the item should be washed as usual.

Spot treatment with hydrogen peroxide
If you need to remove stains from the fabric, hydrogen peroxide can be used as a spot treatment, which is incredibly effective. Apply a small amount of hydrogen peroxide to the stained area and leave it on for a few minutes. Then, gently rub the stain with a cloth.
The mild whitening properties of hydrogen peroxide break down and remove stubborn stains without damaging the overall color and integrity of the fabric. After treating the stain, the item can be washed as usual.
Restoration with baking soda
A mild alternative to bleach is soaking in baking soda, which eliminates unpleasant odors and brightens the fabric. Fill a bowl with water and add 1/2 cup of baking soda. Stir until the baking soda dissolves, then immerse the items to be bleached and leave them for 1-2 hours. Baking soda naturally eliminates unpleasant odors and brightens laundry by breaking down dirt and stains. After soaking, you can wash your clothes in the usual way.
