Discover simple but effective life hacks for removing dents in linoleum caused by heavy furniture. UAportal has told you how to use such everyday items as ice cubes, a damp cloth, an iron, and a tennis ball to restore it to its former appearance.

A hairdryer

Dents from heavy furniture on linoleum can be removed with a hair dryer and ice cubes. To begin with, ice should be placed on the dented area and left for several hours. After that, the area can be heated with a hairdryer at a high temperature for several minutes to swell the dent and return to its original shape.

Iron

Another effective way is to use a damp cloth and an iron. Place a damp cloth on the dented area and gently iron it on the lowest setting for a few minutes to soften the linoleum and restore the dented area to its original shape.

Tennis balls

Gently massaging a tennis ball over the dented area is another unconventional but effective approach to dent removal. By applying strong pressure and rolling the ball back and forth, the damaged linoleum restores its original shape by stretching and compressing the material.

As a reminder, the floor often suffers from stains that cannot be washed off with plain water. However, you should not immediately spend money on chemicals from the store. Instead of household chemicals, you can use a natural floor cleaner, such as lemon.
