If you need to remove stubborn iron stains from your clothes, it is important to use practical and effective methods. UAportal has prepared three life hacks using everyday kitchen ingredients to eliminate annoying stains.

Lemon juice

A useful method for removing iron stains from clothes is to use lemon juice. Squeeze it onto the stained area and leave it on for a few minutes. After that, use a damp cloth to gently rub the stain before washing the garment as usual.

Vinegar

Another effective method for removing iron stains from clothes is soaking in vinegar. Mix equal parts white vinegar and water and immerse the stain in the solution for about 30 minutes. After soaking, you can gently rub the stain with a soft-bristled brush or cloth, and then rinse the item thoroughly.

Baking soda

For stubborn or old stains, you can use baking soda paste. Mix it with a little water to make a thick paste, apply it to the stained area and leave it on for several hours or overnight. After that, the paste can be gently removed with a damp cloth before rinsing the item.
