Dealing with scale in the kettle can be a difficult task. UAportal has told you that there are several effective methods to solve this problem.

Vinegar and water solution

The kettle should be filled with a solution of vinegar and water and left for an hour or two. After that, it should be boiled and allowed to cool. Finally, rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water to remove any remaining limescale.

Lemon and baking soda

The first step is to squeeze the juice of a lemon and add a tablespoon of baking soda to form a paste. Then it is rubbed into the limescale-affected area of the kettle and left for 15-20 minutes. Afterward, it should be rinsed thoroughly to remove the paste and limescale.

Citric acid solution

For this life hack, you need to mix a few tablespoons of citric acid powder with warm water and add it to the kettle. Then the solution should be left for several hours, ideally overnight, and then rinsed off. Citric acid effectively dissolves limescale, leaving the kettle clean.
