Bleach is popular among many housewives, demonstrating its impressive effectiveness not only for traditional purposes but also in various applications. UAportal told you about three life hacks using bleach that will help you in everyday life.

Removing blockages in the sewer system

In case of persistent blockages caused by food and grease residues in the pipes of the kitchen sink, laundry can come to the rescue. Just pour about 0.5 liters of the solution down the drain and leave it for an hour. After that, flush the pipes with plenty of water to effectively remove the blockage.

Fighting mold

Mold can often accumulate in damp areas such as walls, bathroom tiles, or window frames. Use bleach by filling a spray bottle with the solution and directly spraying the affected areas.

After the solution has been on the surface for about 30 minutes, use a sponge to remove any residue. To prevent future mold growth, re-treat previously affected areas the next day.

Cleaning the toilet bowl

Experience has shown that bleach is extremely effective in dealing with problems such as limescale and rust in toilets. Using a spray bottle, apply the product to the surface of the toilet bowl so that it gets into all the nooks and crannies.
