What could be better than the aroma of oranges and delicate shortbread cookies? This is the perfect choice for a cozy evening with loved ones.
Ingredients:
- Butter - 80 g;
- Flour - 170 g
- Sugar - 40 g;
- Egg - 1 pc;
- Oranges - 2 pcs;
- Sugar - 2 tbsp;
- Dark chocolate - 150 g.
The process of preparation:
1. In a large bowl, combine soft butter, sugar and egg. Mix with a whisk until smooth.
Add flour, knead the dough, wrap it in cling film and leave it in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.
2. Cut the oranges into thin slices. Put them in a frying pan in a single layer and sprinkle with sugar. Simmer over low heat until the slices change color.
Then put them on a parchment and bake at 170° for 5-10 minutes to dry a little.
3. Take the dough out of the fridge, roll it out and cut out round shapes. Put the oranges on top. Place on a baking sheet covered with parchment and bake at 170-180° until golden brown.
4. Melt the dark chocolate. Dip the cooled cookies in the chocolate on one side and let them harden.
