5 effective home remedies to remove stains
Dealing with stains on clothes can be quite difficult. If you or your children get your clothes dirty, simply wiping them with a cloth and water may not always be enough. UAportal has told you about several home remedies that will help you effectively deal with these stubborn stains.
Salt
Salt is a well-known absorbent that can help fight various stains, including traces of street dirt. Pour a large amount of salt on the stained area and leave it on for a few minutes.
Gently rub the stain with a damp cloth or brush. Then rinse thoroughly with cold water.
Vinegar
Vinegar is a great tool for removing even the most stubborn stains. Mix six tablespoons of vinegar with a liter of water and soak the stained clothes in this solution for about 30 minutes. After that, rinse the item thoroughly.
Baking soda
Combine baking soda with laundry soap chips, salt, and vinegar to create a powerful stain remover. Mix these ingredients thoroughly until a paste-like consistency is formed.
Apply the mixture to the dirty stain, rubbing it in gently. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash the item as usual.
Starch
For particularly stubborn stains, try using starch together with turpentine and ammonia. Start by applying the turpentine and ammonia directly to the stain and leave it on for a few minutes.
Then prepare a mixture of starch and water to form a paste. Apply to the stain and leave for about 15 minutes, and then wash the garment as usual.
Manganese
Manganese can effectively help remove stubborn dirt stains. Mix a bar of laundry soap with a little manganese and apply the mixture directly to the stain. Leave it overnight to allow the solution to work, and then start washing the next day.
